About Mike

Mike drove World Championship Formula One for BRM and Ensign in the 1970s, has won twelve British Championships in single seaters and sports cars, won the Group C2 Team World Championship with Ecurie Ecosse in 1986, has competed in eleven 24 Hour Races including the famous Le Mans 24 Hour Race seven times and has driven in the British Touring Car Championship.

He provides tuition for manufacturers such as BMW, Lexus, FIAT, Jaguar, Mercedes Benz and Porsche and in 2015. Mike will compete in a BMW Z4 GT3 in various European and UK Endurance events.

With all this experience on track, Mike can teach techniques that will not only improve basic driving skills but also ability to drive smoothly, quickly and most importantly SAFELY.

In addition to his car racing career, Wilds is an active commercial helicopter pilot and instructor.

Mike now lives on the South Coast of England and also enjoys sailing.
